The Lyris Mailing List Manager

Lyris was designed from the start to be easy to use, including a Web interface and mail alias-based commands.

Lyris (http://www.lyris.com) is a list server program that was written for Windows 95/98, Windows NT, and Solaris. Lyris includes a flexible system of e-mail addresses for users to write to when sending commands, along with a Web interface. You can see a demo of the way the Web interface looks for list managers, at http://www.lyris.com/demo/list/.

Mailing Lists about Lyris

The Lyris people run several mailing lists about the Lyris program. For announcements about new versions of Lyris, join lyris-announce. To discuss Lyris, join lyris-discuss. To subscribe to either list, go to http://www.lyris.com/lists.html and fill out the form.

Or send a blank message to the address listname-join@hostname or listname-subscribe@hostname, where hostname is the name of the computer where Lyris manages the list.

Sign off of a list unsubscribe listname

Or send a blank message to the address listname-off@hostname or listname-unsubscribe@hostname, where hostname is the name of the computer where Lyris manages the list.

Hold your mail set listname nomail

Resume getting messages set listname mail
