The Majordomo Mailing List Manager
Majordomo is the best-known open-source MLM. If you know Perl, you can modify it yourself!Brent Chapman wrote Majordomo in 1992 in Perl for UNIX, because LISTSERV (the only list server at the time) didn't run on UNIX. The complete source code for Majordomo is distributed on the Internet, so many people have developed extensions and customizations.
